Tesco Bank and HSBC create new mortgage opportunities Tesco Bank and HSBC create new mortgage opportunities

The mortgage marketplace is constantly evolving, as you know, but recent developments have been of particular interest. Tesco Bank and HSBC have recently widened their broker networks: they have chosen Openwork, through which we at Compass access mortgage products, as one of the first networks to have access to their products. Good news for Compass and our customers.

Tesco Bank and HSBC had realised that they needed to open their products up to a broader market place and not rely only on their branches and stores, and therefore they needed to rethink their routes to market in order to stay abreast of the competition.

This is good news for Compass and our customers because it further broadens the scope of products from which we can select, and which we can recommend for your specific circumstances, financial profile and likely future needs.

Whilst it is fair to say that the two lenders are new to the broker markets and have very definite criteria for acceptance (historically accepting a lower percentage of applicants than some other lenders), no one can deny that their rates at the moment are very good.

We look forward to talking through these possibilities with our customers in the days to come. As always, if you have any questions about this development in the marketplace, or any other mortgage-related issue, please do not hesitate to pick up the phone to Dave or Simon, who will be delighted to chat to you in confidence and without obligation.
