We are only as good as our people, so let us introduce you to our two partners, whose personalities give Compass its direction
Don’t let the fact that Dave Mills played football for Brighton and the Tulsa Roughnecks, plus a range of semi-professional teams put you off; he’s quite harmless really! With a background in corporate finance and fully qualified, Dave gains his greatest satisfaction from enabling young couples, who never thought they would be able to afford a mortgage, to embark on their first steps up the property ladder.
A veteran of two Brighton Marathons, Simon has proven his financial endurance too. Like Dave, he has a background in the corporate world of finance and is also fully qualified. His proudest professional moment? He cites the example of a young lady, who had been turned down for a mortgage more than once, but whom Simon helped and who is now paying less on her own home than she had been in rent.
Since joining Compass in November 2017 with decades of property experience behind her, Nicky has taken over the administration, data input and operational support roles at the company, allowing Dave and Simon to do what they do best, only better and faster. In her spare time, Nicky enhances her creative and deductive skills respectively through painting and sudoku.
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
A great addition to our team is Anne-Marie! Anne Marie is based down in the Cotswolds and she has a background of interesting careers, from working in television production, to graduating at Oxford in Sports Therapy running injury clinics. She is also a qualified interior designer and worked as an estate agent for a while. A varied background indeed and her goal, as always, has been to help people realise their dreams, be it getting on the property ladder for the first time to purchasing their dream property. Interest include, family time, cooking, socialising, watching rugby and walking her adorable miniature dachshund, Truffle.
